For the Love of It has moved to our new

location at 2181 Queen St. East!

A brand-new arts-based community centre is being built in the heart of the Beach at Queen & Lee and For the Love of It has been invited to make it our new home!  The centre is located at 2181 Queen St. and will offer a wide range of programs such as dance, music, arts, yoga/mediation, cooking/culinary and  well health, wellness and life skills workshops.

Paulette O’Leary and Jason Schuy, long time Beach residents, recently purchased the building at 2181 Queen St.  They had a vision to transform it into this amazing space for the community.  This passionate endeavor is funded by their organization the Paul W O’Leary Foundation, founded in memory of Paulette’s father.  The purpose of the Paul W. O’Leary Foundation is to invest in children.  The Foundation supports community-based programs for fun and play through sport, the arts and education, with a particular consideration for disadvantaged and disabled children.  Their philosophy: “Since children will define the character of our society in the future, inspiring them to play together can lead all of us to a more harmonious future”.

Paulette and Jason would like 2181 Queen St. to be a place for children, parents and the community to have fun while enjoying a wide range of arts and wellness programming through the BEACHES SANDBOX.  For the Love of It is so honoured to be invited to move into the centre and our philosophies are perfectly aligned.  We have always believed that having fun is paramount and strive to make For the Love of It a joyful place where students can express themselves with exuberance and enthusiasm.  The whole centre will be dedicated to offering that experience to everyone.
